![]() I am commenting having not watched the video by the way. I think it's more that they are trying to make the game enjoyable to play for as many as they can. ![]() Including someone and having a story that's a strange parallel (or something inspired by) real life events doesn't necessarily mean that it's a political agenda. ![]() Whether it's intentional or not video games are usually a reflection of real life. I enjoy the games because of the story and the lore. I personally could care less about the romance options even if I do go through with them. While these facts are interesting, it doesn't detract from the game for me. One could even compare his father's use of blood magic as a child to "reverse" his sexuality akin to conversion therapy (as well as other things used in the past) that some real life parents use on their children. I will say that Dorian's storyline does seem to parallel real life issues involving Homosexuality and how some view it but I believe it was stated in the earlier Dragon Ages that due to the issue of Mages and continuing mage bloodlines that Tevinter had less of an approving stance on it. I have to deal with my dad in this regard so maybe I'm a little biased but I don't get it. Personally, I don't think BioWare is pushing a political agenda and if it comes off that way I don't think that it's intentional. But nobody is benefiting from arguing an opinion. And I'm not saying don't talk about this type of thing. This Wiki, as a lot of people have mentioned is a great place. So I ask you, all of you, if you see someone's opinion that you don't like, don't argue. If it was a provable fact, different story. But you don't have any right to argue against someone else's likes and dislikes. Some people feel it detracts from the game, others don't. But no-one, in any right can argue with your personal preference. I would like to point out, that by making a comment about you personal preference, is completely okay. "Do not insult others or make personal attacks. It would have been better if Cassandra had the scars and facial structure from DA:I in DA:2. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they have to be super model bombshell types like Miranda or Isabella, but there should be a balance there that fits the character. They did the same thing with the asari in ME:A. I feel that changes like that are pandering to complaints about female characters being designed to look overly sexualized. Ciri from Witcher 3 is one of the most attractive character models and she has a massive scar. In fact, I think it helps add to their character. I don't have anything against character models with scars. She went from having smooth skin and more feminine facial structure in DA2 to having slightly disfiguring scars and a less feminine facial structure in DA:I. My biggest complaint is the character model designs and needless changes from game to game. I, personally, liked the companions' character stories and personality from all of the games.
